He was something, wasn't he? I heard an interview he did in the '60s on NPR the other night and really enjoyed it. He sounded like an interesting man - bit of a drinker and gambler, too. I think we're going to start losing more and more of the older movie stars from our youth. Lawrence of Arabia was such a memorable movie.

ReplyDeleteI was saddened to hear of his passing. I remember the exact day I saw "Lawrence," who I was with and all. It's as if it was just a year ago.
